Known as one of the biggest IT market of Asia, Nehruplace went online with launch of nehruplaceithub.com that extends both business-to-business and business-to-customer services here today.

Among major features of this portal are connecting all the dealers of this IT market through a local area network and providing them a free internet connection. "This would provide a unique trading platform for them to correspond with each other by means of computers and essentially creating a virtual private network of Nehru Place dealers," said Mr. Satyapriya Lakhotia, director of the Softalk Lakhotia Infocom, at a press conference here.

According to Mr. Lakhotia, so far out of 700 dealers, about 70 have registered themselves with the nehruplaceithub.com.
